Let’s lift the curtain on range expectations, break down the variables that shrink or stretch every mile, and give you a practical yardstick for deciding whether this compact two-wheeler can truly shoulder your daily commute.
Manufacturers typically derive their stated range from a controlled scenario: a 165-pound rider on level ground, maintaining a steady 25 mph, with the engine kept in its many efficient RPM band. Under those lab-like conditions, a 16 inch gas scooter equipped with a 50cc four-stroke engine and a 1.2-gallon fuel tank can hit roughly 90–100 miles per gallon.
